It is amazing what is happening out there.
lst of all - Rahm Emanuel is now the new Mayor of Chicago! How about that! lst time in my lifetime there hasn't been an Irish mayor in Chicago and I am thrilled for him. From what I hear, I think it was going to be touch & go and then they were talking about a tie and a run-off in April but it didn't happen. He won! Now, that was just a primary. However, in Chicago, I gather it doesn't work that way. I don't believe there is a Republic who would run for Mayor in Chicago so that is that!
Now, back to Wisconsin! I have been getting e-mails from all sorts of organizations that I normally get e-mails from, all liberal groups, and I have sent Gov. Walker several e-mails, and I pull no punches. Altho I do keep my language clean. Hard as it is, I do! I give these people so much credit for doing this. And people all over the world are for them and cheering them on! Walker keeps mentioning outsiders coming in but he is only for the Wisconsinites. He said it again last nite and he keeps forgetting the Tea Partiers (I really call them tea baggers) that are bussed in by some group, can't remember the name, but paid for by the Koch Bros. who pulls Walker's strings. Now, they are not Wisconsinites. But he never mentions them. The Wisconsin l4 Dem. Senators are still out, God bless them! At the same time, it is happening in Indiana and Ohio and going to happen in New Jersey and Florida and Pennsylvania. And the people are fighting as they are in WI. In fact, I gather WI gave them the encouragement to do so. Now these governors are starting now as they are afraid because I believe the list to impeach Walker has already begun and they need a certain amount of signatures even tho it can't be done for a year, he still can have a short career. Wow, if they impeach him next year he will have been governor even less time than Palin.
She gives me another reason to hate McCain!!!!!!!
People care complaining that Obama has not been to WI, is not defending him but I heard Howard Fineman yesterday, he is formerly w/Newsweek and now w/Huffington Post and he did explain that Obama should not interfere and it seemed to make sense and we have to think that the Prez knows more than we do (maybe).
Meanwhile, Mr. Boehmer - where are the jobs? The Republicans are so involved in stopping abortion, it's like the most important in their lives. That is all I am hearing about and stopping funding for Planned Parenthood! I cannot believe them. That is all they have to do in the House. Of course, it hasn't gone to the senate yet. We shall see. If they ever get off abortions (which I can't believe they will) maybe, just maybe, they will start thinking about jobs! Do you think so????????????
